Three goals in each half for Alton's youngsters capped another impressive performance - made a little easier with an undeserved sending off for the visitors midway through the second half.

Callum Burch opened the scoring on 14 minutes with a dipping shot from 30 yards, having spotted the keeper off his line. Mike Turner then netted with a scorching header from 15 yards getting on the end of a well driven free kick from the right by Jay McQuitty.

Kintbury responded and were rewarded when a swerving shot just eluded Mo Nyamunga in the Alton goal. Just before the interval the 2 goal advantage was restored when Alex Ledger met a through ball from Nick Sharp to score with a shot going across the keeper.

Not to be outdone by his central defensive partner, Lewis Graham netted the fourth with a well taken volley following a corner that wasn't cleared properly. Callum Burch netted his second of the game and substitute Jamie Kinch made it six for the home side - both being the finishing touch to sweeping moves - before Josh Brown was unlucky to put through his own goal five minutes from the end.
