The long midweek trip to Lymington was rewarded with 3 points as Stuart Green capped a great performance with two clever finishes the second of which was a delightful chip from 30 yards with the keeper stranded.

A very young side with 5 youth team players played some clever football and matched the more physical home side throughout. Goalless at half time Alton dominated the second period for long periods with Sam Knight threatening early on, Greens first came after youngsters Callum Burch and Lewis Graham worked an opening on the left, the latter's cross into the box was turned home after Elliot Tricker challenged the keeper. Tricker then hit an excellent 35 yard shot that bought an excellent save from the home keeper, the second goal from Green deservedly gave them there two goal lead which they held until injury time when the home side scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot.

A very good team performance with a welcome return in midfield by Steve Graham and a solid display at the back by Ben and Reed.
