A wonder goal on 89 minutes from Henry Fox gave Alton the 3 points at Cheerywood Road.

Farnborough took the lead after a corner was headed in after so sloppy marking. Alex Ledger's low left foot drive across the keeper equalised. Alton then created 5 good chances but some waywood shooting ment they failed to take any. Another poor goal from Alton's point of view ment they trailed the game 2-1 t half time.

After some strong words at half time Alton came out a differnt team. The back 4 all fought hard and Nick Sharp was excellent in protecting them. Lewis Osbourne put great pressure on the Farnborough full back to win the ball back for Alton, set Ledger free down the left and his cross was turned in by Eidur Tricker for Alton's second equaliser of the night. As time was running and the game looking to be a draw, Henry Fox found the ball drop to him who sweetly volled home from 20 yards to set up the mass bundle!

Alton Town Youth are away again next Wednesday to Thatcham Town, who dumped them out of the League Cup last week.
