A second half goal glut turned the tide in Alton's favour after they had rather bizarely trailed 2-1 at them interval having dominated the home side throughout.

Quickly taking the lead when Sam Knight finished well Alton obviously assumed that the result was a formality and taking their foot off the gas conceeded two very sloppy goals.

A 'gentle gee up' from the management helped bring them out of their slumber and further goals at regular intervals reflected the difference in the two sides. Both Sam Knight and ohn Lancashire scored hat tricks and a Charlie Bailey header rounded off the away sides scoring with a very dubious penalty award to the home side completing the scoring.
