Alton were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Bournemouth Poppies.

The visitors defended well early on and cleared an effort off the line after only six minutes. However, Poppies themselves came close on the hour mark, when Atkinson made a fantastic save in goal for the Brewers but the score line remained goalless at full time with the Poppies full back making a desperate goal line clearance from Alex Lowley in the dying minutes.
